Carol Brown Goldberg is an American artist born in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her BA and MFA from the University of Maryland, College Park, and her BFA from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. Her practice spans painting, sculpture, video, drawing, and related forms, with works that explore color, line, geometry, memory, perception, and the relationship between art and science. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Katzen Arts Center at American University, the Frost Art Museum, the Phillips Collection, the Conarte Museum, and the Chautauqua Institute. Her work is included in collections including the South Dakota Art Museum, Vero Beach Museum of Art, Reading Public Museum, National Museum of Women in the Arts, and New England Contemporary Art Museum. Her awards include the Distinguished Terrapin Award from the University of Maryland and an Individual Artist Award from the Maryland State Arts Council.
