Sir Anthony Caro: Major retrospective at Museo Correr

May 21, 2013: Renowned sculptor Sir Anthony Caro will have a retrospective of his work at Museo Correr in Venice, Italy. The exhibition, organized by the British Council and supported by Gagosian Gallery in association with Annely Juda Fine Art, is the first major retrospective of Caro’s work in Italy and will be on view June 1 to October 27, 2013. Zhao Jing

Drawing on her experience as an award-winning photojournalist, Zhao Jing blends documentary-type realism with a reflective and nuanced sensibility in her fine art photography. Upon returning from the frontline of journalism, she began to explore a new visual territory: one that mixes tranquility and analysis as parallels to eastern and western culture. Her current projects are related to Chinese cultural anthropology, including “Cathay”, a photographic interpretation of historic Chinese poetry and its English translation by American poet Ezra Pound.

May 21, 2013: Jon Isherwood will be exhibiting three of his latest sculptures at the sculpture garden of John Davis Gallery in Hudson, NY.
